I’ve been a stamp collector over a period spanning 70+ years. Early on I started out just like many kids did – collecting US issues I picked up at my local post office and eventually also using various dealers that advertised in Linn’s to expand beyond what I could buy locally. (this was all pre-internet! – what a life!). Along the “early” way I also picked up a few federal duck stamps. But then I started to focus exclusively on my professional career and family life. Stamp collecting took a distant back seat for over 25 years, but was resurrected about 15 years ago.. this time exclusively on Federal waterfowl stamps and the related specialties that come along. A natural evolution was to expand into state waterfowl & conservation stamps and also Indian Reservation issues. I especially like to focus on EFO’s and original artist signed and remarqued Federal singles & plate blocks and also original artist remarqued Federal full panes. I’ve also been an APS member for the last few years and was a judge for the 2025 Federal Duck Stamp Contest.
