NDSCS Stamp Art Contest Winner Announced - Mark Anderson

NDS18 - 2026 NDSCS Society Stamp
The National Duck Stamp Collectors Society (NDSCS) is pleased to announce that Mark Anderson of Sioux Falls, S.D., is the winner of their annual art competition. Mr. Anderson’s painting of Shoveler drake and hen will grace the 2026 Society stamp. This is Mr. Anderson’s first society win. He previously did the 2005 Federal duck stamp (RW72), along with stamps for Iowa, Ohio, Oklahoma, and South Dakota.

A total of 11 entries were received from society member artists and voting was open to the entire membership of the NDSCS. All 11 entries received at least one vote!

Second place went to Rebekah Knight with her painting of a pair of Emperor geese, and third place was an entry of a Hooded merganser drake by Michael Kensinger.

The National Duck Stamp Collectors Society was founded in 1992. They issued their first stamp in 2009 and the series features a Who’s Who of wildlife artists.

NOTE: Please do not place an order for the 2026 Stamp until August 15, 2026. We are in the process of the new stamp’s production. THANKS
You can order the stamps from the Society web site: ndscs.org or your favorite duck stamp dealer. Membership in the Society is available for $25 a year and includes a subscription to the quarterly journal, Duck Tracks.
